Filmmaker and author Tahira Kashyap Khurrana is getting back to her gym routine one step at a time, and her latest workout video will have you pumped up too. The star recently took to Instagram to share a video of herself exercising at the gym. She talked about trying to achieve her goals one step at a time.

Tahira, who is married to Ayushmann Khurrana, posted the video on her official page with the caption, “I NEED to do this, I WILL do this,” and hashtags like #redetermine, #igotthis, #instafit, #reelitfeelit, #instareels, #workout, #onemoretime, #maikaregi, #sweatitout, and #thistimeformyself. It shows Tahira exercising on cycling equipment at the gym.

The video begins with the caption, “Time to redefine,” as Tahira gets back to her routine “one step at a time.” The author revealed that she “had given up, but she pulled herself together again” to get back to the grind “slowly but surely.” Additionally, she used Arijit Singh and Asees Kaur’s song, Bandeya Rey Bandeya, for the reel.

The video shows that Tahira worked out for more than 30 minutes at the gym and lost over 200 calories. She nailed the rigorous routine dressed in a printed top and cycling shorts.

After Tahira posted the video, it garnered several likes and comments from her followers. Celebrities like Sonali Bendre and Bhumi Pednekar reacted to the post by hearting it. Aparshakti Khurana’s wife, Aakriti Ahuja, also commented on it. “Yesss, [raised hand emoticons],” she wrote. Saiyami Kher wrote, “You got this.”

Professionally, Tahira recently released her new book, The 7 Sins of Being A Mother. She is a writer-filmmaker and has directed two short films, Pinni and Toffee.

Meanwhile, Tahira married Ayushmann Khurrana in November 2008 after dating for several years. The couple is parents to two kids. The 37-year-old was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2018 and underwent a mastectomy soon after that.
